Meet the Owner!
Hi there! My name is Dianne Wall (Luck) and I am extremely excited to have my own dog grooming business. After working in a few successful shops in Barrie and Orillia, I decided it was time to take a leap and start on an adventure of my own.
When I was in high school I was undecided on what I wanted to do when I grew up. After discussing it with my best friend, my lab named Lucky, I decided I wanted to work with animals. I applied to Sheridan College in Brampton, Ontario where I completed their Animal Care Program. I learned not only how to groom, but all about nutrition, animal wellness, proper handling and restraint techniques, just to name a few. Upon graduation I received not only my Certificate as an Animal Care Worker but also my Pet First Aid Certificate.
Moving back home, I started work at a local grooming salon where I got the desire to pursue my grooming career even further. I went to school in London, Ont at Pets Beautiful Inc. During the course I was introduced to many different breeds and was taught how to groom all of them in both show trims and pet trims. When I completed my training I received my Career Diploma and became a "Professional Pet Stylist".
Most recently, I have completed DNM University's nutrition course and am now a "Certified Pet Food Nutrition Specialist". Pet nutrition has very quickly become a passion of mine and I love discussing what your pet is eating and how we can give him the most healthy life!
Working in this business has allowed me to learn something new each and everyday as no two dogs are the same. I look forward to grooming your furbaby and hope to welcome him or her into my shop as if they were one of my own.
Hello! My name is Stephanie Creighton, and there are 3 things I love more then anything in the world and that is dogs, horses and scuba diving!
I love that I get to apply my passion for animals in my every day life through my career as a dog groomer!
My whole life I knew I wanted to work with animals, I was mainly infatuated with horses growing up. Naturally, I pursued my passion and worked on an apprenticeship towards my Horse Groom Certificate through high school. After high school, I got accepted into the University of Guelph - Kemptville Campus where I graduated from the Horse Industry Technician Program. At the same time, I got my academic credits to complete my apprenticeship and got awarded my Professional Horse Groom Certificate through the Ministry of Colleges and Universities.
Once I graduated, I spent years working for the OSPCA in both Sudbury and Barrie and I worked for various horse farms, from show jumpers to race horses. In 2017, I decided to take the professional pet grooming course at Fluffy Paws Grooming School in Richmond Hill. I graduated grooming school and worked at a grooming salon in Gravenhurst for a year, and then I started working for ShamPooch and have never looked back! I look forward to meeting your furry friends and treating them to an exceptional s'paw day during their visit with me!
